The Sausage Kitchen originally opened on 1958, as a corner store and deli.  It was opened by Ted and Lil Miller, from  Kenosha, Wisconsin.  It has been a family owned business ever since.   They operated the deli for many years and in  1975 the restaurant was added. It has been serving customers of Racine for a long time.  People  come and go from Racine, but when they come back, they always have to visit for a sandwich.  It has been many years  since the grand opening, so when customers come back they always have stories to tell.  Come in and tell any of your child stories that might evolved around the Sausage Kitchen.  Sometimes it is considered a meeting place for childhood friends.

The Sausage Kitchen is currently owned by Dave and Pat Miller, who operate the business  with the help of their son Chris. Having so many great  customers makes it fun to come to work every morning.    Even when people leave Racine, The Sausage Kitchen is never forgotten.
